Imma 60's rebel...

Hehe. I'm doing a sponsered walk soon, and imma be a hippie, or as my History teacher told me mate "A Sixties Rebel" ! It's fancy dress. This is just a short and silly post, sorry. I think I'll be a bit more random as well as posting new sims, updating Temptations, and playing Ambitions. It 'cos it's what you wanted, so I'll be handing it out to you. :]

Ambitions stuffs...

I know I'm a bit behind on the Ambitions craze, but I'm such in loves with it, I wanna show off a few piccies of my new stylist sim.

Her name is Tiffany Pier, her traits are Dramatic, Mean - Spirited (I wanna do a horrible makeover do someone - muahaha) Inappropriate, Virtuoso, and Artistic.

Nothings like getting a tatoo in a long sleeved tee, eh?

After getting a tatoo, I begin Tiffany's work as a stylist. I was planning on doing an awful makeover, but I felt so sorry on how he looked now, there's no way I could make it worse.

So I gave him a good makeover. But the next one will be a disaster! Muhahaha! >:]

Happy Fathers Day!

Hapy fathers day, to every dad out there! From the Grim Reaper in my game, to the real life dads who work hard. My dad is down at Devon fishing at the moment, so he's been spending his day traveling.

Which is the best sim-dad in your game? Mines the Grim Reaper. He cares so much for his little evil child. :]

Taste of Ambitions.

I never knew TS3's latest update included tattoos even if you didn't have Ambitions! (I'm liking this update - lots) I was in CAS, as you do, and spotted the tattoos. I put some on my simself to show you.

I'm hopefully getting Ambitions tomorrow. Yippee!

I'm also still playing my Apocalypse, and strangely, looking out the windows, the view is green (but the ground is definitely sand!)

I likes it though.

Back to simming. :)

I have finally fixed my launcher, turns out WA updated but TS3 didn't. So back to simming, I'll update soon on my simming.

Also, has anyone heard Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug? On the end of the video, Ke$ha says "I like your beard." And my friend said that she would have a curly ginger beard with a sandwich toaster in it if she could.

So I leave you with this question - If you could have any beard you wanted, what would it be? :]

Yes I've been a happy chappy recently, becuasde I got to go to a Lloyd Daniels concert (the blonde welshy dude who was in X Factor this year) and it was amazing! 2 other acts came on before him, which was welsh band Baker Wicked (not Barker Wicked which I acidently called them 5 times) and this Lady GaGa impressionist. She was welsh too. Anyway, we got to meet Lloyd and get an autograph! Yipee!
My friends are HUGE fans of his, and evrery video I took, I could hear my very screamy friend Emily screaming! Haha! Good times.

On the launcher situation, I'm still stuck. A uninsatllation seems likelier and likelier (is that even a word? Proabably not) Am going to check the forums to see if they're up and I can post. I've resorted to playing Sims and Sims 2 on my PS2. It gave me a right blast from the past.


Just a question, does anyone know how to get into TS3 without using the launcher? I've tried AutoPlay and that never comes up when I click run. Thanks if you can help.

Oh, hello again, trouble page!

Argh, it's Simmy McTroublePage again. Clicking onto the forums offline, I saw the forum page, thinking it was finally fixed. And logging in, I come across the trouble page again. But reading posts in the forum when I was offline, people were complaining about the latest patch to come with Ambitions. Is it me, or have the EA peeps have closed down the forums to stop it being overun with people with problems becuase of a glitchy patch? Becuase I didn't get a message from the Guru's about a maintinence. >:[

Oh for the love of crap!

Right, I need a tech person or anyone with answers to help me please, because my launcher is screwed. (Okay, bits of it were already broken, but now I can't even click it off or get into my game.) >:[

It started when I updated from the launcher, and everything was fine during the update, and then I clicked finish. Then I clicked the Sims 3 icon to get the launcher up. In the gap of clicking the icon to the actual launcher a EA thing came up and I clicked continue. After that, my launcher finally appeared, I got given this lovely message. It says "Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Please update your game via the game launcher." I click OK, but nothing loads.  It looks just like the below picture, but without the message. I place my mouse over it and it's got the Vista loading icon. I've put both WA and TS3 base in the CD-rom to see if any of them work.  If you can help, thank you very much.

Lack Of Posting

Hey, sorry I haven't been posting recently, I've been going through a stage of being bored with the Sims. I know, terrible, but it happens with me, sadly. Life comes back and I notice what I've been missing. So after a break from The Sims, I think I'm coming back.

I cannot wait for Ambitions! Haven't payed my smackaroonies for it yet (you're proabably thinking WTF at me now), becuase I'm skintos, and plus I wanna see if it's a load of EA Epic Fails which I will never play again, (just like WA - It's going on eBay soon, methinks) or just plain amazing. I'm 99.9% sure it's gonna be brilliant, but I like to make sure and see what peeps are saying about it.

I thinks now I'm gonna play and get on with a couple of projectos, (The Apocalypse, Temptations, and my planned Scouting For Girls Simselves), and if I get far enough on 'em, I'll update.

The flush of disaster...

Since I'm getting bored with TS3 at the moment, I decided to do a really hard challenge, then I remembered the Apocalypse challenge. If anyone has never heard of the Apocalypse Challenge, this is how it is.It starts when at half time in the American Superbowl, when everyone goes to the loo and flushes it. Of course, with so many toilets being flushed at the same time, something's gonna happen. And what happens is three power plants melt down, causing toxic devastation. The ground is toxic, so nothing grows, the air is toxic, so people get weaker, and health, food and technology have taken a turn for the far, far worse. Your founder is in college at the time, but when they move to the town, they face HUGE challenges, and lots of restrictions.

My founder is the lovely Roxie Gravity, a sim I made a while ago. I'm gonna look at this on her perspective.

I stand here, my mouth feels like it going to drop to the floor, but I don't think I wanna do that. Breathing this toxic air through my nose is bad enough, I don't want to feel like I'm tasting it too. The dry, dry sand wouldn't ever be able to keep a plant alive in it, so that's a resource of food I cannot rely on. My home is this plot of land, and I must make shelter before dark.

I want to run, run away so far from this barren land. But I cannot, becuase I cannot afford to leave. But I still run, run to the shores of the island I must make my home. My long wavy hair sweeps side to side as I sprint. Maybe the shores and the sea air smell better than it does deeper into the land.

The shores have a slightly better smell, though it does not defeat the stench of toxic fumes from the power plants. Realising I have nothing to eat tonight, I pull my father's fishing rod out and begin to cast. My father gave this to me before he passed away when I was in college.

The pressure was on, for I had no fishing skills, the only thing I knew about this sport was what my father taught me as a child, though I had took no interest. Now I needed was just to remember what I learnt. It was this, or  they could be no meal for tonight.

I catch, but the catch is small. It would barley create a mouthful after cooking this! I take it anyway, so I can eat tonight. I also caught two the same, and I am rather tired after the session. Oh my, the toxic air is making me weak already!

Ignoring my fears, I head back to the front of my wasteland "home" and look for a job in the newspaper. There is one for the culinary career, and I take it right away. But it seems if I miss one day of work, I'll be jobless....

I was gonna make a house, but it needs to be on pillars, and I can't find them. Does anyone know where they are kept?
